zen toolkit smart acquisition create flexible and smart image acquisition workflows. this package includes functions for creating flexible and intelligent image acquisitions with the experiment designer, guided acquisition and experiment feedback tools. experiment designer can be used to configure inhomogeneous acquisition experiments: time series, multitime series, z-stacks, tiles/multiposition images and channels in any order. note: the image acquisition using this module requires the motorizedor advancedacquisition package. please note that some parameters of definite focus are currently not transferred between experiment blocks. guided acquisition allows automatic and targeted acquisition of objects of interest (e.g. for rare events): 1st step: acquisition of an overview image of the sample. 2nd step: automatic 2d image analysis to detect objects of interest 3rd step: acquire detailed images for the detected objects. the use of guided acquisition additionally requires the 2d or 3d toolkit. experiment feedback provides the ability to respond to changes in the sample, the microscope or external triggers during an image acquisition and to modify an ongoing acquisition via powerful python scripts (not available in zen core).
